This brief description will provide the theory why the 4 vitamin supplements may be all you will need to improve your health, boost your immune system to the point that you are free from the common cold and even more serious diseases to even include cancer.

I will briefly describe each of the supplements and how they synergistically work together to improve your health. Below this information is a full description of each product.

GlycoImmunogen-8  Double Strength (previously known as MGN-3)  supports and improves the immune system. Our immune system is a collection of mechanisms within an organism that protects against disease by identifying and killing pathogens and tumor cells. It detects a wide variety of agents, from viruses to parasitic worms, and needs to distinguish them from the organism's own healthy cells and tissues

Disorders in the immune system can result in disease. Immunodeficiency diseases occur when the immune system is less active than normal, resulting in recurring and life-threatening infections. Immunodeficiency can either be the result of a genetic disease, such as severe combined immunodeficiency, or be produced by pharmaceuticals or an infection, such as the acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) that is caused by the retrovirus HIV. In contrast, autoimmune diseases result from a hyperactive immune system attacking normal tissues as if they were foreign organisms.   Vitamins Plus GlycoImmunogen-8  is a nutritional supplement designed to support optimal immune function.  GlycoImmunogen-8  contains RBAC™, a glyconutrient compound called arabinoxylan that is formed when an extract of rice bran fiber is broken down with enzymes from the Shiitake mushroom.  Clinical studies have shown that RBAC™ has a number of beneficial effects on the immune system, including the ability to increase B-Cell and T-Cell counts, and to stimulate NK cell activity.  In addition, RBAC™ helps to modulate overall immune function.  Vitamins Plus GlycoImmunogen-8  also contain a blend of Maitake, Reishi and Shiitake Mushrooms, which provides a high 1,3 Beta Glucan content.  Mushroom Beta Glucans have been shown to possess a remarkable ability to support both innate and adaptive immunity.

Parasites

It is estimated that more then 50 % of people in western world, have some parasitic or semi-parasitic animal living inside their body. Parasites could be a cofactor in almost every illness, and that is why we have many pages on CureZone dedicated to parasites. (parasitic animals)

It is estimated that pinworms infect more than 400,000,000 people throughout the world and in many areas of the world (e.g., North America and Europe) it is the most common nematode parasite of  humans.

On a world-wide basis, however, Ascaris lumbricoides ranks #1 infecting more than 1,000,000,000 people.

Ascaris lumbricoides is one of the largest and most common parasites found in humans. The adult females of this species can measure up to 18 inches long (males are generally shorter), and it is estimated that 25% of the world's population is infected with this nematode. The adult worms live in the small intestine and eggs are passed in the feces. A single female can produce up to 200,000 eggs each day! About two weeks after passage in the feces the eggs contain an infective larval or juvenile stage, and humans are infected when they ingest such infective eggs."

       Do parasites cause morbidity or deaths?

Note that these diseases cause relatively few deaths, but that each causes significant morbidity, and it is the chronic and disabling nature of these diseases that have such an impact on human populations, especially in developing countries.
